Here is another AMAZING rendition from today's rehearsal! This is the super-catchy song by Australian band Empire of the Sun called "Walking on a Dream." The PS22 Chorus of 2010 is getting better and better with each performance, and this may be the kids' best yet!

Boy, the kids are on it now. Two songs on video in one day. And the song seems to have gotten much stronger since the turn of the year.
Two of my favorite movies are Stand and Deliver AND Freedom Writers. Both about extraordinary teachers. But instead of actors, with PS22 we get the real people. No actors could even come close...
Mr. B - Just wondering if might on day film a practice session as you disuss lyrics, learn melodies and words, and layer on harmonies. I think it might really provde insight into how you teach...but to paraphrase you from the intor to you in 1000 oceans, "it might be really great or it might swtink."

Wow, Aussie songs definitely agree with the kids! They're incredible. Absolutely awe inspiring.
You guys should keep the Aussie tunes coming. I recommend some Cat Empire or Missy Higgins. You'd knock our socks off I bet.
