Help Support the PS22 Chorus!

It has long been suggested that we add a link for donations, so I'm thrilled to announce the inclusion of a Donation Link to any and all who are interested in supporting the PS22 Chorus! Big thanks to The Fund for Public Schools and the N.Y.C. Dept. Of Education for making this possible.

hmmmm, link seems to work here. under the picture there's an e-form to fill out, no?

Zen said...

Doesn't work for me. :-(
I thought maybe it's a Firefox issue but with IE it's the same.

Anyone else having this issue?

Here it also just links to a pic - no form. (using Safari).

Same for me (using safari), I can just click on "fund for public schools" (that gets me to their homepage) and then go to "donations"; but that would not be for you guys, would it ?

Anyway great idea :)

I"m on Safari and it works just fine.... might I suggest adding a Paypal ability. It would be nice if I could use my Paypal account to donate money.

Question! Of course I want to support PS 22, b/c you've provided me and so many with a gazillion smiles and inspiration for the work you do mr. b. but could you elaborate on whether donations will be solely to ps 22 or is this funding music programs in nyc doe?

thanks so much!

Mr. B. your link works, maybe they didn't scroll down?

"maybe they didn't scroll down?"
You be the judge, KBF.
I provided a screenshot earlier.

Or it might be that the donation link doesn't work outside of the US ? That happened to me before ^

blossomgirl said...

Strangely enough I did think of scrolling down when I tried it the first time. LOL.

Anyway, it works for me now, even though I'm not in the US. Now using IE though. Not sure if that makes any difference, or if the bug's been fixed. Either way - it works!

PLEASE do a cover of Pumped Up Kicks! Love hearing the chorus, and will absolutely flip if I hear them do a rendition of that song. :P

Both my daughters have had the honor to share in the magic Mr. B has created. I fear only that one day he will have to retire and I dont want to see his legacy retire as well. I really do belive a national scholarship fund for NYC schools should be started in his name.
We need to ensure the future holds the same magic that he carries today. Love to see a foundation created just for his vision. Music, passion and creativity nurtured in every child for years to come!
Just want to say thanks Mr. B.!

I'd love to give my son (attended P.S. 22 back in 1980's) a chorus shirt, and of course would make an appropriate donation for same. Are they available?

OMG...the kids were excellent. I was so excited for them! I can only imagine how thrilling it was for them! Keep up the good work.

Is the form secure? I wanted to donate but there is nothing to indicate that it is secure. I've already had my bank account hacked into on the net, so I'm a bit nervous. Also, does the money go to P.S. 22 or into a fund that will be shared with other schools?

I am moved beyond words by the PS22 Chorus and Mr B. By chance, I saw a little clip about PS22 on Sunday afternoon - - it spurred me on to find out more about the chorus. Every song I listened to made me want to hear more - -so I watched the Oscar's solely so I could see you bring your magic. CONGRATULATIONS and thank you for sharing this treasure with the world.

Mr. b, are you the long haired guy who plays the music in most of the videos? in addition to donating to ps22, I'd like to donate to you also, as there are not enough people like you doing great work like this for today's youth. You have re energized my belief in public schools doing amazing things. well done.

Are donations tax deductible? Can you set up a paypal donation method?

Hi Mr. B and PS 22...I am a music teacher too (for 20 years in Mpls, MN and Eagle, CO). You have inspired me and my students since watching the oscars. The passion you bring to your work is incredible! I love your arrangements and have also sung lots of "non-traditional in the music teacher world" songs with my kids...I direct and teach from the piano and guitar like you. My question is....would you ever consider publishing some of your arrangements? Or share the charts? I'm sure you're exhausted right now, but I would LOVE to get my hands on some of your harmonies....and some tips on how to get the kids to sing them...in tune. You are amazing, thanks for the awesome work and showing the world what kids can accomplish.
