Here is one of my favorite songs from back in high school and still to this day, Shawn Colvin's "I Don't Know Why" cowritten by John Leventhal. The PS22 Chorus of 2010 does a rather fantastic job of it, and Clarissa is just lovely on the solo! Another beautiful voice comes to light!
I don't know why I am so emtional about you guys...PS 22 Chorus & Mr. B...I just know that I am.
ReplyDeleteAsuuming there whould be a new offering on your blog, I went up stairs a few momments ago to turn on my wireless modem and connect to the internet. As I did, I thought, "something slow, something beautiful...something speaking with Great Heart...I wanted that evoked just a few tears of joy, and what I found was "I Don't Know Why."
It was exactly what I was thinking of, but even better than I was imagining.
Great solo Clarissa. Great smile at the end, as you realized, "I did it. I really, really did it." "Really."
Thanks to all of you....Bruce
