G! M! A!

This morning was absolutely incredible as the kids got some more national exposure on Good Morning America! The kids sounded astoundingly good as they sang snippets of some of their most well-known internet hits, and a full-length version of "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey!

Below are some more pics from the show! Thanks to GMA for supplying some of the pics you see here, including the awesome group shot below the post title.

Tirzah rocks the mike!

Elijah gives a soulful performance!

Feelin' it....

Robin Roberts (the coolest!) and the gang!

Pooped after a hard day's work!

  2. YEAH!!! Was that your footage or from the network? Did any of your "people" get all of the songs? The shot of the kids around the piano is awesome-- and the sleeping bus shot...
what time did they have to be up for this? I would think they would still be running on adrenaline!
    GREAT JOB KIDDOS!

ps-- you looked like you might be having just a little fun yourself there Mr. B and I'm glad there were no broken strings ;)

  4. To say that you guys are simply amazing is the understatement of the century. Great work!

As a teacher myself, I tip my hat to you Mr B. I can't even wrap my mind around all of the blood, sweat and tears you must put into your work. An inspiration, to say the least.

  6. I only got to hear the Stevie Nick's song and the song sang by that sweet boy... Your group sang at the end but it was cut very short, just a 1/2 phrase came out and boom, u guys were gone... I was disappointed because the station cut ur kids off... But from what I saw, they were so proud and happy, and that is the important thing... I am glad the hosts stressed about the arts and humanities programs being in jepoardy ... can't wait to see the next show u guys are one...

  15. Can't believe you guys have been doing this for so long and I just first saw you yesterday on GMA. Thank you for all your efforts and passion you put into your classes. It's amazing to see the kids so passionate and into their singing. Your renditions make the originals so much better. I wonder how we could get you and the kids out to DC to sing for the Obamas. Any ideas?
    We love you all!

  17. LOVED the present! i love bamboo plants!! and it was so beautiful!! thanks so much! the best gift i got from you however was just getting to enjoy having you and your sis in chorus this year! you guys are so special, each with different talents, and yet the same sweetness! :)

and yes, the chorus of 2010 definitely will be owing a lot of their success to you guys, just as a lot of your success can be attributed to the kids that came before you guys... it's a great little cycle we have going!! ;)

this group definitely took the chorus's success to a whole new level! and i really thank you for that "superman" comment! but really the success belongs to you guys. you're the superkids!! ;)

  18. Are you sure you have 5th graders? They all show such maturity that is far above that of their same age peers both in performances and their comments on here and on the various TV appearance. What a privilege to work with such great groups of kids.

ps-- I love the superman comment Bahira!
